Job summary

Novant Health seeks a Radiation Therapist I in North Carolina to perform CT and treatment procedures with a high level of proficiency, and to serve as a Super User for department technology and workflows.

You will precept and train new staff, participate in HDR QA or specialized treatment protocols, demonstrate expertise in VisionRT and IV contrast simulation, and contribute annual presentations to radiation leadership on patient safety, cost savings, and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High School or GED is required.
• Three years of experience as a radiation therapist.
• ARRT in Radiation Oncology required.
• Ability to complete department skills validation and competency testing.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT and treatment procedures with a high level of proficiency.
• Serve as a Super User for department technology and workflows.
• Preceptor for new employees; provide training and mentorship.
• Lead at least one presentation to radiation leadership on safety, cost savings, or efficiency annually.
