Novant Health in Huntersville, NC is seeking a Radiation Therapist I to join our Cancer Institute team. You will safely deliver prescribed ionizing radiation treatments under the direction of the Radiation Oncologist, contributing to compassionate, high-quality cancer care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1–2 years of applicable experience preferred.
• ARRT in Radiation Oncology (registry eligible with 6 months to obtain certification) is required.
• BLS is required.
• Ability to complete department-specific skills validation and competency testing.

Responsibilities

• Provides radiation therapy treatments to patients according to prescribed treatment plans and established clinical standards.
• Reviews treatment plans, patient information, and treatment parameters to ensure accurate and safe treatment delivery.
• Operates radiation therapy equipment and verifies treatment setup and positioning.
