Job summary

SAIC seeks a RADARSystemsEngineer (GEOINTGround) in Chantilly, VA to deliver SETA support for a critical NRO program. You will provide systems engineering expertise across radar/RF ground processing and mission operations, guiding architecture, requirements, and acquisition activities to ensure successful delivery across the lifecycle.

The role requires TS/SCI with poly, and extensive experience in radar/RF phenomenology, mission workflows, and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor’s degree with 9+ years of experience, or Master’s with 7+ years; PhD/JD with 4+ years may substitute for degree.
• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with Poly.
• Experience applying Radar/RF phenomenology to collection, processing, and mission exploitation.
• Knowledge of end-to-end Radar/RF mission systems and workflows (planning, tasking, C2, processing, dissemination).
• Experience developing, refining, and verifying system requirements, architecture products, and concepts.
• Understanding IC/DoD/space systems and ground/software-intensive programs.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted technical advisor to NRO leadership on radar/RF ground processing and mission operations.
• Drive development of next-generation radar/RF capabilities through architecture analysis and requirements development.
• Lead assessments of emerging technologies to improve performance and operational effectiveness.
• Oversee contractor development to ensure delivery of mission-critical capabilities and standards.
• Support end-to-end SE activities from concept to deployment and transition.
• Partner with IC/DoD and industry to shape future Radar/RF architectures.
