Job summary

TTM Technologies, Inc. – Aerospace & Defense Sector in Farmingdale, NY, seeks a Staff Radar Systems Engineer to design, develop and test radar systems. You will work with advanced radar, MBSE, and signal processing, collaborating across engineering teams to deliver high-performance solutions.

The role requires 10+ years in radar systems, MS or PhD preferred, MATLAB experience, and the ability to obtain a DoD secret clearance. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of related radar systems engineering experience.
• 6+ years with a Master’s degree; PhD with 3+ years acceptable.
• Experience with Active Electronically Scanned Array technology and design.
• Proposal development and Basis Of Estimate (BOE) development experience.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. DoD secret clearance when required.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex analysis, modeling and simulation for radar solutions.
• Support requirements flow-down, HW/SW trade studies, and system design reviews.
• Plan and execute flight-testing activities for radar systems.
• Develop radar signal processing algorithms using MATLAB for multiple modes.
• Contribute to high-fidelity radar performance simulations accounting for RF chain parameters.
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to carry out studies.
