Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace US LLC is seeking a Technical Fellow to lead strategic radar system technologies and guide engineering leadership. You will apply principled systems engineering to deliver advanced sensor products for commercial and defense customers, interfacing with executives and customers alike.

Ideal candidates bring 15+ years of engineering experience, a Master’s in engineering/physics/mathematics, and the ability to obtain an active security clearance.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in engineering, physics or mathematics.
• 15+ years of engineering experience.
• Ability to obtain/maintain a security clearance; US citizenship required.
• Active security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership in the development of new radar systems.
• Develop technology roadmaps and identify gaps.
• Create capture strategies and lead white papers with BD and engineering support.
• Engage with customers to shape, pursue and capture opportunities.
• Establish partnerships with government labs, universities or small businesses.
• Drive IP protection through patent/trade secret reviews.
• Oversee IRAD tech efforts and other challenging technical issues.
• Publicize capabilities through publications and appearances.
• Foster cross-divisional collaboration and transfer knowledge.
• Mentor the next generation of technical talent.
• Travel up to 30% as needed.
