Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace EDS seeks a Technical Fellow to join its engineering leadership team, providing strategic direction in radar system technology and principled systems engineering for defense and commercial customers. You will be viewed as an expert across projects and interfaces, shaping architectures and technology roadmaps.

This role demands exceptional communication, mentorship, and collaboration across divisions, with travel up to 30%.

Qualifications

Master's degree in engineering, physics, or mathematics.
15+ years of experience as an engineer.
Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance (US citizenship required).
Active security clearance required.

Responsibilities

Provide technical leadership in the development of new radar systems.
Develop technology roadmaps and identify gaps.
Create capture strategies and lead white paper development with BD and engineering support.
Engage with customers to shape, pursue, and capture opportunities.
Establish partnerships with government labs, universities, and small businesses.
Drive IP protection through patent/trade secret reviews.
Oversee IRAD technology efforts on programs or bids.
Publicize capabilities through publications and presentations.
Foster cross-divisional interaction and transfer knowledge.
Mentor the next generation of technical talent.
Travel up to 30% as needed.
