Job summary

Reliable Robotics in Seattle is looking for a Sr. FPGA Design Engineer to lead the entire lifecycle of FPGA design for their advanced radar solution. This role involves collaboration with avionics teams and focuses on translating MATLAB algorithms into VHDL.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of full-cycle electronics hardware development experience in a professional environment.
• Experience with safety-critical FPGA development (DO-254 level A/B).
• Proven track record of product ownership, including development and field support.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with avionics and radar teams to establish high-level FPGA requirements.
• Translate MATLAB algorithms to fixed point VHDL implementations.
• Conduct system architecture performance tradeoffs and verify real-time performance.
