Job summary

Caribou Thunder in Colorado Springs seeks a Radar Data Analyst 3/4 to support advanced radar capabilities through systems engineering, radar algorithms, and mission engineering. You will translate requirements into algorithm designs and assess radar performance across the engineering lifecycle.

The role requires a STEM degree with related experience and an active TS/SCI clearance with SCI eligibility. MATLAB, signal processing, and cross-functional collaboration are essential to succeed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM with 5+ years related experience; OR Master's with 3 years; OR PhD with 1 year.
• Secret Clearance required.
• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility; ability to obtain/maintain SCI access.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and integration of radar algorithms to meet system performance objectives.
• Translate requirements into algorithm designs and implementation plans.
• Perform functional and performance analyses to evaluate radar system capabilities.
• Develop mathematical algorithms supporting radar modes and sensor implementation.
• Use MATLAB and code prototyping to develop, model, and evaluate engineering solutions.
• Develop software integration plans for real-time environment modeling.
• Perform signal processing and radar system analysis for operational objectives.
• Conduct radar performance analysis using Blake Charts and other methods.
• Assist across the Systems Engineering lifecycle to align capabilities with requirements.
• Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to resolve complex problems and deliver integrated solutions.
• Guide engineering teams through development activities and ensure alignment with mission goals.
• Develop technical documentation and analyses for reviews and program decisions.
• Level 4 engineers provide increased technical leadership and strategic input.
