Job summary

RTX is seeking an Electrical Engineer for the Radar Analog and Power Department in Massachusetts. You will design, analyze, simulate, test, and document power conversion and analog circuitry to meet system requirements.

The role involves collaborative design work, risk discussions, and occasional travel to multiple MA sites, with opportunities to lead and develop a technical team. Ideal candidates have 8+ years of power systems experience, strong modeling skills, and an active security

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM field.
  • Minimum 8+ years of design/production experience with power systems and control.
  • Experience with PSPICE, MATLAB/Simulink or similar tools.
  • Experience with schematic capture CAD package.
  • Existing security clearance and ability to obtain/maintain clearance.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

  • Design, analyze, simulate, test and document power conversion and related analog circuits.
  • Work with engineers to develop proven designs based on performance specs.
  • Resolve production issues related to existing product designs.
  • Lead small teams with schedule, budget and technical execution.
  • Present technical reviews to leadership, staff and customer community.
  • Travel to MA locations as needed for assignments.
