Job summary

Walmart is seeking an experienced Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician to support store facilities with maintenance and repair of refrigeration systems. The role requires hands-on technical work, adherence to safety policies, and ability to handle emergency calls in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualified candidates have at least 2 years in commercial HVAC maintenance, EPA refrigerant handling certification, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance.
• Large-Scale Rack Refrigeration experience.
• EPA refrigerant handling certification (Type I/II or Universal).

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility's refrigeration HVAC equipment using hand tools, power tools, and digital tools.
• Use work orders system to receive and document repairs.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls.
