Job summary

Carnival Corporation & plc is seeking a Senior Auditor for Risk Advisory and Assurance Services (RAAS) to lead end-to-end strategic reviews of key processes and controls, communicating results to senior management and influencing business decisions.

The role requires expertise in audits, risk assessment, data analysis, and root-cause analysis, with travel less than 25% and shipboard travel likely. The position is in-office at the Miami area with some remote Fridays.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business preferred.
• CPA or CIA certification preferred (or in progress).
• Minimum 5–7 years of relevant experience with Big 4, management consulting or experience in a highly matrixed environment (excluding internships).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, and Teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop planning and scoping for complex reviews to ensure appropriate coverage.
• Lead walkthroughs of complex processes and controls to identify risks and develop tests.
• Perform testing and data analysis to assess controls and derive insights for management.
• Identify issues and opportunities to improve operations and root causes.
• Conclude on the adequacy of management's processes and internal controls to mitigate risk.
• Prepare concise, accurate audit reports and present findings to senior management.
• Lead meetings and present issues and opportunities to executives.
• Collaborate with senior management to develop action plans for tactical and strategic changes.
• Manage project progress, milestones, and reporting; track status and budget.
• Follow up on implementation of management action plans.
• Maintain working paper documentation and compliance with IIA standards.
• Support internal investigations and SOX 404 program as assigned.
• Pursue relevant training and professional development.
