You will lead outdoor and shop testing, diagnose test issues, and mentor junior technicians while collaborating with design and engineering teams.

The role emphasizes hands-on fabrication, CAD interpretation, data capture, and continuous improvement of processes and tools, with a strong focus on safety and field work readiness.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on fabrication skills in wood, plastic, metal.
• Experience with mechanical and shop equipment (mills, bandsaws, lathes, etc.).
• Reading and interpreting drawings, schematics, and CAD outputs.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, assemble, and modify complex prototypes and test systems.
• Lead setup and execution of outdoor/shop-based testing and data acquisition.
• Diagnose and resolve issues on prototype builds and test setups.
