Job summary

Nova Biomedical in Massachusetts seeks an experienced Senior R&D Project Manager to lead cross-functional R&D initiatives from concept to launch. You will manage schedules, budgets, and risks while aligning projects with strategic goals and Quality systems.

The role requires 5+ years in regulated environments, expertise in design controls, and strong communication to drive decisions and ensure on-time delivery in a fast-paced commercial setting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years PM experience in a regulated environment (medical/pharma preferred).
• Strong knowledge of design controls and stage-gate processes.
• Proven ability to manage cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders.
• Experience with budgeting, risk assessment, and strategic planning.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Experience producing reports and presenting to management.

Responsibilities

• Manage new product development and sustaining engineering projects through full lifecycle.
• Establish schedules and budgets; ensure deliverables across multiple projects.
• Collaborate with Product Management to drive R&D projects into new product pipelines or portfolio support.
• Define risks and mitigation plans; report outcomes to management as needed.
• Ensure adherence to Nova Design Control and Stage Gate processes.
• Lead Bio Ecosystem and Core Team meetings to foster collaboration.
• Resolve resource allocation issues and set priorities for timely completion.
• Assist with R&D issues affecting approval or launch in respective markets.
