Job summary

You will lead the development of specifications for laboratory or manufacturing equipment, supervise procurement, installation, and commissioning, and collaborate with operators, maintenance staff, and engineers to drive facility projects.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in a relevant field with five years of experience or an equivalent

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline with five years of directly relevant experience.
• Ability to acquire and maintain a DOE Q clearance.
• Graduate degree in Mechanical Engineering is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop specifications for new or replacement laboratory or manufacturing equipment and lead procurement, installation, and commissioning.
• Collaborate with operators, maintenance staff, leadership, and engineers on equipment and facilities projects.
• Oversee manufacturing efforts at vendor sites, ensuring builds meet specs, on time and within budget.
• Travel to various sites to support builds and mentor colleagues while engaging customers.
