Job summary

Qualifications

  • MSME, BSME, Physics, or related field.
  • Minimum 4+ years industry experience in concurrent project management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High level of manufacturing technology experience.
  • Experience in tolerance analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a development arm of superconducting transmission lines and interfaces.
  • Work directly with the Signal Integrity (EE) team to ensure mechanical design supports electrical performance.
  • Ideal candidate will have experience with braiding equipment and flexible coaxial cable manufacturing.
  • Responsible for material selection (metal, plastic, surface coatings, etc).
  • Developing initial product specifications and technical documentation.
  • Cultivate new suppliers to address unusual manufacturing challenges.
  • Interface with customers during multiple phases of a project and assist in the sales process.
  • Collaborate with internal and external suppliers for DFM, prototyping, and production tooling design and qualifications; travel to sites around the world.
