Job summary

MillenniumSoft Inc. is seeking a Senior R&D Engineer in Franklin Lakes, NJ for an 8-month contract (W2). The role involves leading R&D activities for the Specimen Management platform, applying engineering principles and DFSS/DOE methods.

The engineer will design experiments, develop models, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust product improvements while maintaining quality standards and regulatory alignment.

Qualifications

• Sound knowledge of engineering first principles.
• Strong technical judgment and leadership skills.
• R&D planning, requirement generation and technical reviews for product development.
• Strong project management and multitasking under deadlines.
• Proficiency with Solid modeling tools (e.g., SolidWorks/Pro/E).
• Experience directing associates and leading small cross-functional groups.
• Familiarity with MS Project and phase-gate development processes.
• Knowledge of MSA and DFSS methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to R&D team on Specimen Management platform.
• Develop technical solutions using experimental, computational and analytical methods.
• Design and develop in vivo/in vitro models for product evaluation.
• Lead DOE, tolerance analysis, validation, and design verification activities.
• Ensure quality policies and design control through documentation and training.
• Collect and analyze data; present results to leadership.
