RHI Magnesita invites applications for a Senior Non-Basic R&D Engineer to advance refractory products from lab to production in York, PA. You will collaborate across R&D, Operations, Quality, Technical Marketing, and Sales to drive innovative, cost-effective solutions that enhance product performance and manufacturing processes.

You will lead laboratory-scale research, coordinate plant trials, and engage with global teams to develop and implement new formulations and technologies while

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Ceramic Engineering, Chemistry, Engineering or related field.
• Experience in ceramics, materials, refractory or related manufacturing industries is preferred.
• Hands-on experience with materials through manufacturing processes (mixing, casting, firing, testing) is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve non-basic refractory products from lab research to full-scale production implementation.
• Coordinate plant trials with Operations and Quality teams.
• Supervise and coordinate work activities for Research Technicians and support field trials.
