Job summary

Ingersoll Rand in Lincolnshire, IL is seeking a Sr. Quoting/Costing Engineer to assess RFQs for product feasibility, costing and manufacturability across Flexan, Lincolnshire and Chicago units.

You will partner with Sales, Process Engineering and Supply Chain to develop cost models, BOMs and quotes, evaluate tooling options, and drive cost-out initiatives while respecting project scopes and NREs. Travel onsite.

Qualifications

• Excellent analytical, mathematical and communication skills.
• Experience estimating cost for molded components (silicone/rubber).
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and CAD models.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed cost estimates for silicone and rubber molded components and manage quotes.
• Assess RFQs for feasibility, cost, and manufacturability across multiple business units.
• Collaborate with Sales, Process Engineering and Supply Chain to finalize quotes and lead times.
• Maintain cost models and drive cost-out improvements in line with project scopes.
• Coordinate with Quality, ERP and tooling teams to ensure accurate costing and processes.
