NVIDIA is seeking a Quantum Computing systems engineer to join a rapidly growing team. You’ll work with internal and external partners to define system requirements to enable fault-tolerant quantum computing and help accelerate the ecosystem globally.

You will translate product needs into technical specs, develop real-time control and calibration approaches, and contribute to test plans across hardware, software, and firmware.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or related field.
  • 5+ years of post-bachelor’s experience across multiple parts of a complex hardware/software system.
  • Hands-on experience with real qubits and quantum control systems software.
  • Passion to drive technology innovations into NVIDIA software and hardware products for Quantum Computing.

Responsibilities

  • Define system requirements to enable fault-tolerant quantum computing in collaboration with internal and external teams.
  • Develop real-time quantum error correction and calibration strategies supported by rigorous systems analysis.
  • Translate product requirements into technical requirements across hardware, software and firmware.
  • Create test cases and review implementations for correctness and completeness.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, rapid innovation, and creative problem solving.
