Job summary

NVIDIA's cuQuantum SDK team is seeking an experienced software researcher to develop, scale, and optimize quantum computing simulations, focusing on QEC workloads and high-performance algorithms.

You will collaborate with NVIDIA Research, Developer Technology, and Product Management, mentor others, and engage with external researchers while delivering robust, well-documented software across multiple GPU generations.

Qualifications

  • Excellent modern C++ and Python programming skills with debugging and testing.
  • Proven ability to translate research algorithms into robust software.
  • Expert understanding of QEC and stabilizer formalism as described.
  • Experience with noise models and quantum software tools is valued.
  • Strong collaboration across research, engineering, and product teams.

Responsibilities

  • Develop innovative algorithms to accelerate QEC simulations at scale.
  • Research and optimize GPU-accelerated algorithms across hardware generations.
  • Collaborate with NVIDIA Research, Developer Technology, and Product Management.
  • Engage with external partners to understand use cases and requirements.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to colleagues.
