Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Sr Technical Program Manager for Infrastructure and R&D Projects at the AWS Center for Quantum Computing in Pasadena, CA. You will drive complex, cross‑functional programs across internal teams and external collaborators, shaping project management standards and lifecycle practices in a fast‑paced lab environment.

The role requires deep domain knowledge of R&D operations in quantum technologies, strong communication skills, and experience managing high‑visibility programs

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science or equivalent.
• 7+ years working directly with engineering teams.
• 5+ years of technical product or program management experience.
• Experience in project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk and critical path management.
• Experience leading highly technical programs involving infrastructure, complex systems, systems engineering.

Responsibilities

• Manage infrastructure and R&D projects across internal teams and external collaborators.
• Contribute to defining technical project management standards across the Center of Quantum Computing.
• Help shape project management practices and lifecycle visibility to leadership.
• Leverage knowledge of quantitative risk management, reviews, and requirements management.
