Quantinuum seeks a Quantum Computer Deployment Physicist to lead the deployment of Helios systems worldwide. The role includes system preparation, installation, validation, and customer acceptance, working with teams across atomic physics, hardware, and software. Remote work is allowed where business needs permit, with extensive travel to sites globally.

Qualificações

• Ph.D. required and 7+ years of post-graduate experience in atomic physics or related quantum tech fields.
• Experience as a technical contributor or leader on quantum deployments or R&D programs.
• Ability to travel internationally for deployments and customer sites.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare Helios systems for shipment, relocation, installation, bring-up, validation, and acceptance.
• Act as deployment SME for atomic physics and qubit performance during critical windows.
• Own deployment success criteria for quantum system performance and customer acceptance testing.
• Diagnose complex issues across hardware, controls, software, optics, and electronics.
• Lead technical decision-making during high-pressure integration and validation at sites.
• Train internal and customer staff on deployment processes and best practices.
• Improve deployment plans, standard work, test plans, and documentation.
