Job summary

D-Wave Quantum Inc. is seeking a Senior Application Developer for Government Business Solutions. You will build applications running on D-Wave’s quantum systems, deliver market-ready software, and collaborate with customers and internal teams.

The role emphasizes Python, open-source tools (LEAP, Ocean), and close interaction with government clients. A TS clearance is required or obtainable.

Qualifications

5+ years of professional Python development experience.
Experience with NumPy, Pandas, and Scikit-learn.
Experience with NetworkX for graph-based problems.
Experience with version control (Git).
Must currently have or be able to get a US Government Top Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

Develop algorithms to solve complex problems while building applications on the D-Wave quantum computer and internal tools.
Implement and optimize the performance and own the code base, primarily in Python.
Build out custom applications to solve complex problems for customers or market release.
Ensure successful delivery of projects to achieve positive business value for customers.
Collaborate with business stakeholders and other team members to design customized solutions.
Become an expert on offerings such as LEAP and Ocean open-source tools.
Help solve real-world, challenging problems impacting our commercial customers' success.
