Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to support a multi-billion-dollar semiconductor construction program in Boise, Idaho. This role will measure, value, and commercially manage construction works, ensuring accurate quantity tracking, cost control, and contract compliance throughout project execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in related field; Quantity Surveying/Construction Management/Engineering.
• Strong understanding of quantity take-offs, measurement principles, and construction cost management.
• Experience reviewing complex drawings, specifications, and BIM models.
• Proficiency with Bluebeam, Excel, and cost management software.
• Experience reviewing contractor progress reports, payments, and change orders.
• Familiarity with contract administration and commercial controls processes.
• Experience with semiconductor or large-scale industrial projects preferred.
• Ability to provide valid US work authorization documents.

Responsibilities

• Review construction drawings, specifications, models, and project documents to quantify scope and support cost management.
• Prepare and maintain detailed quantity take-offs and measurement records.
• Verify contractor-reported progress quantities and support payment reviews.
• Provide estimating support related to change orders and tool install takeoffs.
• Perform field measurements and site verification to validate quantities and progress.
• Evaluate scope changes and prepare quantity assessments for change orders and claims.
• Assist with cost forecasting, earned value, and project cost reporting.
• Identify discrepancies between design, field conditions, and contractor quantities.
• Support contract administration and commercial reporting activities.
• Collaborate with engineering, construction management, project controls, and commercial teams on costs and scope changes.
• Maintain accurate documentation of measurements, assumptions, quantities, and records.
• Support benchmarking efforts across project teams.
• Contribute to risk identification and mitigation related to quantity growth and commercial exposure.
• Other duties as assigned.
