Job summary

Arcadis is seeking an experienced Senior Architect to join our Semiconductor Sector. You will lead design and coordination for complex industrial projects, ensuring quality, code compliance, and integration across disciplines. This role includes mentorship of junior staff and collaboration with engineers, designers, and clients.

Remote work is possible; however, candidates near Boise, ID; Phoenix, AZ; Albany, NY; or Hillsboro, OR are preferred. Travel up to 25% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related field.
• Licensed Architect required.
• 8+ years of relevant architecture experience in a senior-level role.
• Experience with A/E or EPCM firms in industrial/semi conductor facilities.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, codes, and multidisciplinary coordination.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Enscape, Photoshop, Bluebeam, PowerPoint, and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead advanced architectural design principles and contract document standards.
• Provide senior-level expertise in design layout, code analysis, material selection, specifications, detailing, and technical report writing.
• Evaluate technical performance of materials and systems for industrial/high-tech facilities.
• Lead design presentations, drawing packages, and construction documentation.
• Ensure compliance with zoning, building codes, and industry standards; coordinate across project documentation.
• Manage architectural scope across multiple projects, meeting deadlines and quality expectations.
• Coordinate with project engineers, internal design teams, and external stakeholders for integrated delivery.
• Lead coordination of architectural systems with structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and process engineering teams.
• Provide technical direction, quality review, and mentorship to Architect/Designer staff.
• Support project leadership in resolving design and technical issues during planning, design, and construction phases.
• Other duties as assigned.
