Job summary

Cumming Group is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor in California to provide expert-level cost consultancy and project support from tender through final account on diverse construction projects, including data centers. You will lead procurement, contract advice, and post-contract administration, while coordinating with internal teams to deliver value.

You will manage client relationships, drive risk management, and guide junior colleagues, ensuring high standards and timely project delivery

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in quantity surveying or cost management
• MRICS or equivalent qualification preferred
• Strong leadership and project-management capabilities

Responsibilities

• Manage the delivery of QS services on fee-earning projects
• Lead procurement and negotiation with supply chain partners
• Administer contracts from tender to final account
• Perform cost and value reconciliations and monthly forecasting
• Manage risk and opportunity processes and client relationships
• Mentor and develop junior staff to improve team capability
