Job summary

Bimplus in Reading is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a regional main contractor with a strong pipeline of projects in education, healthcare, commercial and residential sectors. The role involves overseeing procurement, subcontractor accounts, valuations and final accounts on schemes up to £15m.

Key requirements include an HNC or construction degree, experience with JCT contracts, and the right to work in the UK. Flexible working and progression opportunities are on offer.

• Must have administered JCT form of contract.
• Must have the full right to work in the UK.
• Must live within commutable distance to Reading.

We have an excellent opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a regional main contractor based in Reading. The business undertakes projects across education, healthcare, commercial and residential sectors. As a result of some recent project wins, they're now looking to expand their team with an additional Senior Quantity Surveyor.

About the role of Senior Quantity Surveyor:

As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be working on a project valued between £4m – £15m.

Key Responsibilities as Senior Quantity Surveyor:

• Manage subcontract procurement
• Manage subcontractors accounts on site, dealing with variations
• Manage monthly valuations and liaise with the client
• Deal with final accounts

Key Requirements for this Senior Quantity Surveyor position:
