Job summary

Verana Health is seeking a Senior Quantitative Scientist, Implementation, to lead the design and deployment of scalable analytics on real-world healthcare data. You will drive analyses that support commercial life sciences projects and ensure reproducibility across teams.

You will guide technical standards, collaborate with Commercial, Product, Medical, and Engineering teams, and mentor others while advancing rigorous scientific methods in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with healthcare datasets (EHR, outcomes, messy data)
• Advanced analytical methodologies in real-world data
• Proven leadership in technical and analytic workflow optimization
• Strong ability to communicate findings across technical and non-technical teams
• Ability to balance scientific rigor with pragmatic, business-friendly approaches
• Eligible to work in the United States (no visa sponsorship provided)

Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of scalable analytic workflows using real-world healthcare data
• Design, code, and run analyses powering real-world evidence for life science projects
• Set best practices for code review, version control, and reproducibility (GitHub)
• Act as technical advisor translating business impact of scalable data processes
• Drive retrospective studies using EHR data with statistical planning and algorithm development
• Collaborate with Commercial, Product, Medical, and Engineering teams to address clinical questions
• Present findings to internal and external partners to inform decisions and foster innovation
• Contribute to a culture of learning and scientific rigor, advancing methodological standards
