Job summary

Chase is seeking a Quant Analytics Associate Senior for the POS Capabilities team to use data and technology to prevent fraud and secure payments. You will work with cross-functional partners to advance analytics, machine learning models, and modernize authorization platforms.

The role emphasizes solving problems, leading large-scale projects, and communicating insights to senior leadership while staying current with industry trends and best practices.

Qualifications

• MS degree with 5+ years of risk management or other quantitative experience.
• Proven collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
• Demonstrated ability to solve business problems and manage tight-delivery projects.
• Advanced skills in SAS, SQL and Python.
• Experience querying large data sets and turning results into actionable insights.
• Strong communication with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Understand full lifecycle of POS transactions and identify improvement opportunities.
• Contribute to technical projects with design recommendations meeting business needs.
• Build and maintain capabilities for fraud decisioning, data models, and KPI systems.
• Partner with Risk Modeling teams to enhance ML models and data sources.
• Improve analytic techniques and share best practices across teams.
• Identify business opportunities through data mining and storytelling to leadership.
• Provide clear written and oral updates on key projects to leadership.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices.
