Job summary

Sanmina Houston is seeking a Quality Technician to support quality control and assurance activities onsite. You will work with engineers on setup, calibration tasks, and rework, collecting data to document QA outcomes and help develop methods and procedures.

Qualifications include 4+ years experience (8+ preferred) with a high school diploma, ability to read drawings, and strong GD&T knowledge. Proficiency with measurement tools and CMMs is essential.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a minimum of 4+ years of related experience with a High School Diploma.
• A minimum of 8 years of experience is strongly preferred.
• Ability to read and understand drawings, customer standards, and purchase order requirements.
• Must have the basic knowledge of computers (word processing, spreadsheets, databases).
• Requires excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Working knowledge of measurement instruments and tools.
• Advanced knowledge of GD&T ASME Y14.5-2009.
• Defense/Aerospace experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Investigates product nonconformities with cross-functional teams to develop root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Coordinates replacement of defective/suspect products; maintains RMA/RTV logs.
• Supports customer first build runs.
• Performs product inspections per internal, customer, and industry requirements using gauges and CMMs.
• Contributes to continuous improvement initiatives and documents results.
