Job summary

Volkswagen Group of America seeks a Quality Technical Manager (QTM) to support Volkswagen dealerships by supervising advanced repair diagnostics and ensuring adherence to VW standards. The role focuses on expert guidance to technicians, training, and process improvements across service workshops.

The QTM coordinates with dealership management to minimize repeat repairs, update diagnostic tools, and provide escalation for complex cases, driving customer satisfaction and quality repairs.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years in Service Department of retail or wholesale automotive operation.
• ASE Master Level Certification with L1.
• Degree in Automotive Technology or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Consult with Dealership Management During Every Visit to Evaluate and Improve Their Dealership Technical Readiness.
• Lead the Dealership to organize a program to ensure all required Volkswagen workshop tools and equipment are available and audited.
• Ensure VW approved diagnostic scan tools are listed, updated, and current.
• Identify future VW technical training content and evaluate technician training during dealer visits.
• Develop a process to reduce repeat repairs and improve RRFT scores with service leadership.
