Job summary

Suburban Volkswagen of Farmington Hills is seeking a highly skilled Master Automotive Technician to join our service team. You will diagnose complex vehicle systems, perform multi-point inspections, and complete warranty and standard repairs to Volkswagen specifications.

Collaborate with service advisors to explain issues and costs, mentor junior technicians, and stay current with VW diagnostics in our state‑of‑the‑art shop.

Qualifications

• Master Technician certification or VW equivalent Master-level certification preferred.
• Proven ability to diagnose and repair complex vehicle systems.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Accurately diagnose and repair a wide range of automotive systems and components.
• Conduct multi-point inspections and ensure vehicle performance meets safety and quality standards.
• Collaborate with service advisors to explain technical issues, recommend solutions, and estimate costs.
• Communicate with customers as needed to ensure transparency and satisfaction.
• Complete all repairs and services according to manufacturer specifications, including warranty work.
• Stay up to date on the latest VW technology, diagnostic tools, and repair procedures.
