Job summary

Interactive Resources LLC. seeks a Lead Quality Assurance Engineer to establish the quality infrastructure for a new manufacturing operation supporting mission-critical products.

You will develop quality processes and support AS9100 compliance, driving manufacturing readiness, CAPA, and continuous improvement. You will work closely with Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, and quality teams across the U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience in Quality Engineering/QA in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with AS9100, ISO 9001, ISO 13485, or IATF 16949.
• Experience with CAPA, nonconformance, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Experience developing/improving quality procedures, processes, and documentation.
• Experience supporting audits, process validation, manufacturing readiness, or production implementation.
• Ability to analyze quality data and identify improvement opportunities.
• Strong technical documentation, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with ERP/MRP or quality management systems.

The Lead Quality Assurance Engineer will help establish and maintain the quality infrastructure for a new manufacturing operation supporting mission-critical products. This role will be responsible for developing quality processes, supporting AS9100 compliance, and driving manufacturing readiness, corrective action, and continuous improvement. The position will work closely with Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, and quality teams in both the U.S. and Norway.

Required Education/Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience in Quality Engineering, Quality Assurance, or Quality Systems within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience working with a formal QMS supporting regulated environment such as AS9100, ISO 9001, ISO 13485, or IATF 16949.
• Experience with CAPA, nonconformance, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Experience developing or improving quality procedures, processes, and documentation.
• Experience supporting audits, process validation, manufacturing readiness, or production implementation.
• Ability to analyze quality data and identify process or product improvement opportunities.
• Strong technical documentation, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working with ERP/MRP or quality management systems.

Preferred Education/Experience

• Direct AS9100 experience.
• Experience with greenfield/startup manufacturing operations or new production launches.
• Supplier quality or internal auditing experience.
• Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma experience.
• Working knowledge of GD&T and engineering drawings.
• Experience with structured problem-solving methods such as 8D, 5-Why, or Fishbone.
• Experience with configuration management, change control, or quality risk assessment.
• Experience working with international engineering or manufacturing organizations.
