Job summary

Solventum, a healthcare data solutions company, is seeking a Senior Quality Software Engineer/Analyst to ensure software accuracy and robust test coverage. You will design and execute automated and manual tests, analyze results, and work with clients to validate solutions.

Ideal candidates have strong Java/SQL/JSON testing experience, SCRUM proficiency, and a track record of delivering reliable test suites in a remote setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher (completed before start) with 6 years of software development experience; or High School Diploma/GED with 10 years of software development experience.
• 3 years of experience creating software quality and/or data processing tests.
• Experience testing applications implemented with Java, SQL, and JSON.
• Experience working with an Agile team using SCRUM.

Responsibilities

• Assess specifications and requirements for consistency and accuracy.
• Create and maintain test suites with full coverage of component logic paths and calculations.
• Execute test cases (manual and automated), analyze results, report defects, and identify abnormalities.
• Design, develop, and maintain tools for generating tests, running tests, and analyzing results with automation in mind.
• Deliver test suites to clients on time with high accuracy.
• Support clients by providing tests and collaborating across roles and with clients.
• Participate in Agile team planning, estimate tasks, and outline test approaches.
