Job summary

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a Senior Advisor for Quality and Safety Operations to oversee quality oversight across hospital, ambulatory, and health plan settings. The role partners with leadership, regulatory bodies, and clinical staff to ensure patient safety, performance improvement, and compliance with standards.

The position requires RN licensure in Washington, extensive leadership experience, and strong expertise in quality improvement, risk management, and data analytics.

Qualifications

• Minimum three (3) years in a leadership role with or without direct reports.
• Minimum four (4) years of experience in a clinical setting, health care administration, or a related field.
• RN license (Washington) or Compact License: Registered Nurse
• Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities include BPA, Risk Management, Compliance, Health Care Data Analytics, and Project Management.

Responsibilities

• Promotes learning by communicating information and providing advice to drive projects forward; builds relationships with stakeholders.
• Oversees business-specific projects; partners to make effective decisions; solves complex problems and escalates risks.
• Acts as SME for clinical quality improvement processes and regulations; advises on policies and auditing processes.
• Develops and implements systems for data management to monitor performance of safety programs; analyzes data and presents reports.
• Leads evaluations of cost-effectiveness, clinical policies, and program improvement to support regulatory readiness and patient safety.
