RK Industries in Aurora, CO seeks a Quality Shop Manager to own the Quality Management System across fabrication and manufacturing facilities. You will lead teams, drive compliance, and champion continuous improvement to meet project requirements and codes.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in manufacturing with 5+ years in senior quality leadership, a Bachelor’s in engineering or related field, and Lean/Six Sigma background.

Competenze

• 10+ years in manufacturing operations with leadership experience in quality or operations.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, operations management, or business administration.
• Lean manufacturing experience and Six Sigma Black Belt is a strong plus.
• Deep knowledge of ISO QMS, ASME, and AISC standards; blueprint reading and QA testing.

Mansioni

• Lead Quality System Management: implement and continuously improve an ISO-level QMS across facilities.
• Maintain accreditations and guide teams through external audits.
• Direct inspection and testing operations using QA/QC systems.
• Collaborate with Department Managers, Operations, Engineering, and PM teams to transition design to production.
• Oversee quality records and deliver feedback to stakeholders.
• Monitor sites for compliance with building codes and client specs.
• Train and mentor employees on installation, processes, and compliance.
• Apply Lean principles to drive continuous improvement in shop operations.
• Champion safety culture and empower stop-work authority.
