Job summary

Ideal Aerosmith is a leading provider of precision inertial guidance test systems and aerospace test services. We seek a Quality Operations Manager to lead day-to-day quality operations across mechanical and electro-mechanical systems, including inspection and compliance activities.

You will manage the Quality Inspector and Systems Quality Engineer teams, drive continuous improvement, and partner with engineering, manufacturing, program, and supply chain to prevent defects and ensure reliable

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, quality, manufacturing, or related field.
• 5+ years in quality, inspection, or related environment.
• 5+ years of leadership or supervisory experience.
• Experience supporting mechanical and/or electrical inspection in manufacturing.
• Familiarity with nonconformance management, RCA, CAPA, and quality metrics.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specs, and customer requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop mechanical, electrical, and systems quality functions.
• Oversee incoming, in-process, and final inspections.
• Provide hands-on guidance for complex inspections and quality concerns.
• Ensure work aligns with drawings, specs, IPC standards, and requirements.
• Partner with engineering, manufacturing, program, supply chain and customer teams.
• Manage nonconforming material and disposition processes.
• Lead root cause analysis and CAPA with verification of effectiveness.
• Develop inspection plans, test plans, and validation activities.
