Job summary

The Quality Manager at CECO Environmental in Denton, TX will lead the Quality Management System, maintain ASME U/R Stamps, ISO 9001, 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, and U.S. Navy quality programs, ensuring regulatory compliance and continuous improvement across manufacturing and supplier activities.

The role serves as the quality authority for the Denton facility, interfaces with customers and auditors, and collaborates with Manufacturing, Engineering, Purchasing, Sales, and Project Management to meet

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, or related field.
• Seven (7) or more years of progressive quality management experience in industrial manufacturing environments.
• Experience administering ASME quality programs and fabrication code requirements.
• Experience supporting regulated manufacturing environments, including nuclear, power generation, energy, or industrial equipment manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Own, maintain, and continuously improve the Company's Quality Management System and associated quality programs.
• Maintain compliance with applicable standards, certifications, and customer requirements, including ASME U/R, ISO 9001, 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, U.S. Navy quality programs, and customer-specific requirements.
• Serve as the designated management representative responsible for maintaining effectiveness and integrity of quality systems and certifications.
• Develop, implement, maintain, and revise quality manuals, procedures, work instructions, forms, and quality documentation.
• Ensure document control processes are maintained, including revision management and retention of quality records.
• Maintain digital quality records with clear revision control and accessibility.
• Exercise independent authority to stop work when quality, code, regulatory, or customer requirements are not met.
• Reject nonconforming materials, components, assemblies, and finished products when requirements are not satisfied.
• Interpret and enforce applicable quality standards, specifications, codes, and customer requirements.
• Liaise with customers, regulatory agencies, third-party auditors, and certification providers regarding quality system compliance.
• Lead root cause investigations and corrective/preventive actions.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives utilizing Lean, Six Sigma, 8D, and related quality methods.
