Job summary

Allegion seeks a Plant Quality Manager for its McKenzie, TN facility to lead product quality and reliability in steel door and frame production. The role combines leadership with hands-on quality activities on the shop floor to quickly contain issues and verify fixes.

You will partner with production leadership, manage CAPA and supplier quality, and drive continuous improvement using structured problem solving and SPC/MSA tools. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience leading quality in manufacturing.
• Experience in metal fabrication and rated metal products preferred.
• Experience with PFMEA, control plans, CAPA and audits.

Responsibilities

• Develop and sustain the plant Quality system and procedures.
• Maintain presence on the shop floor to identify real-time issues.
• Partner with production leadership to integrate quality into operations.
• Lead containment and CAPA for non-conforming material.
• Drive root-cause analysis using structured tools and verify prevention plans.
• Provide SPC support and training; implement control charts.
• Oversee receiving, in-process, final inspections, FAI, gauge calibration, MSA.
• Coach and develop quality team; provide hands-on training.
