Job summary

ATC seeks a Quality Manager in Knoxville, TN to lead the Quality Management System, supervise Quality Engineers and Supervisors, and ensure ISO 9001/IATF 16949 compliance. You will drive metrics, mentor cross-functional teams, and coordinate with customers and suppliers on quality and service.

Responsibilities include developing PPAP/APQP for product launches, maintaining PCPs, and promoting a safe workplace while improving processes and finding root causes for warranty and supplier issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required and 7+ years related experience preferred.
• Experience with Tier 1 & Tier 2 Automotive, ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 14001.
• Detailed knowledge of APQP/PPAP processes and tools.

Responsibilities

• Designs and implements a closed-loop warranty analysis system with quick access to data.
• Leads analysis team to improve root-cause identification and reduce warranty costs.
• Reviews results with customers to define root-cause ownership.
• Drives improvement actions from analysis data to product teams.
• Builds strong relationships with customer counterparts.
• Ensures adherence to Quality, MMOG, and ISO 14001 policies.
• Promotes a safe, accident-free work environment.
• Develops and maintains Product/Model PCP (Process Control Plan).
• Facilitates cross-functional preventative and corrective action plans.
• Mentors cross-functional teams on root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Coordinates customer visits and supports APQP/PPAP on launches.
• Resolves critical issues per policy and Lean initiatives.
