Job summary

NSK Americas is seeking a diligent Quality Assurance professional in Tennessee to help maintain IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 certifications and ensure customer satisfaction.

The role includes monitoring scraps, leading root cause investigations, supporting containment and audit activities, and driving Lean projects. You will interface with suppliers and internal teams to contribute to continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Support IATF 16949 and ISO9001 certifications.
• Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Support daily scrap monitoring and analysis.
• Responsible for supplier reporting and monthly metrics.
• Completes or assists in completion of all root cause and countermeasure investigations for customer complaints, internal investigations, and audit findings.
• Assists and/or manages containment.
• Assists and/or manages sorting activities.
• Support all external and internal investigations.
• Assists with activities for Change Management.
• Manages all external Supplier Defect/Containment.
• Supports and participates in shop floor audits.
• Supports Customer requirements.
• Supports APS/Lean Projects.
• Supports Quality Training.
• Supports HOLD Process.
• Proficient in Microsoft.
• Able to interface with computers.
• May be responsible for assisting in training of QA technicians and QA support of Dojo training for all new hires.
