Job summary

RESRG Automotive is seeking a Quality Engineer for our Newbern, TN facility to drive product quality and process excellence across the organization.

You will implement quality systems, support customers and suppliers, and lead lean initiatives while collaborating with design, engineering and manufacturing teams to meet IATF 16949 requirements. This hands-on role offers growth, a dynamic team, and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment with a quality focus.
  • Knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) methods.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing quality systems to meet internal and external customer requirements
  • Plan and participate in improvement activities to ensure quality systems meet/exceed customer requirements
  • Develop documents to support ISO/TS 16949 requirements (PPAP, FEMA’s, Control Plans, PSW’s)
  • Serve as primary quality contact between customers, suppliers and plant operations
  • Assist in implementing lean principles in quality systems and program management on new products
