Job summary

Mortenson is seeking an experienced Senior Quality Manager to lead, manage, document, monitor, and analyze the quality system on major projects. You will spearhead corrective actions, establish QA/QC plans, and drive continuous improvement across work divisions.

You will review quality requirements, manage non-conformances, RFIs, and punch lists, while coaching others and guiding career development within the quality group.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Civil, Architectural Engineering, or Construction Management.
• Minimum seven years in design, engineering, or construction with quality leadership.
• Knowledge of multiple quality systems (Baldridge, ISO 9000, Lean, Kaizen, US Army Corps).
• Experience in Design/Build and issue management, inspection of work.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, document, monitor, and analyze the quality system on one or more projects.
• Develop and implement the Quality Management Plan for project scope.
• Establish quality control initiatives and corrective actions.
• Review project plans for quality requirements before construction drawings.
• Manage Non-Conformance Notices, RFIs, and punch list processes.
• Coach and mentor Quality Managers, Engineers, and team members.
• Provide job assignments and career development within the quality group.
• Train project personnel on quality roles, responsibilities, and Kaizen/visual management.
