Job summary
Mortenson is seeking an experienced Senior Quality Manager to lead, manage, document, monitor, and analyze Mortenson's quality system on major projects. Responsibilities include planning, development, and implementation of the Quality Management Plan, leading corrective actions, and coaching teams across the organization.
Qualifications require a civil/construction-related bachelor's degree, 7+ years in design/engineering/construction with quality leadership, and familiarity with quality systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction, Civil, or Architectural Engineering or Construction Management.
- 7+ years of experience in design/engineering/construction with quality system leadership.
- Experience with quality systems such as Baldridge, ISO 9000, Lean or Kaizen.
- Experience with Design/Build projects.
- Current driver's license.
Responsibilities
- Lead the quality system across one or more significant projects.
- Develop and implement the Quality Management Plan and system.
- Establish quality control initiatives and corrective actions.
- Review project plans for quality requirements prior to issue for construction drawings.
- Manage Quality Events and corrective actions; close out punch lists; manage NCRs and RFIs.
- Coach and mentor Quality Managers and engineers; manage career development.
- Train project personnel on Mortenson's Quality System and Kaizen/visual management.
