Job summary
Mortenson is seeking an experienced Senior Quality Manager to lead, manage, document, monitor, and analyze the quality system on one or more significant projects; and lead necessary corrective and preventive actions.
Responsibilities include leading planning, development, and implementation of the Quality Management Plan and system for all work divisions, establishing quality initiatives, reviewing plans for quality, managing events and NCRs, coaching and mentoring Quality staff, and training
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in construction/engineering or equivalent is required.
- Minimum seven years of experience leading a project’s quality system.
- Knowledge of quality systems such as ISO 9000, Lean, Kaizen, or Baldridge.
- Experience with Design/Build and inspection of work.
Responsibilities
- Lead the quality system on one or more projects from notice to proceed through customer acceptance.
- Develop and implement the Quality Management Plan for all work divisions.
- Establish quality control initiatives and corrective actions.
- Review project plans for quality requirements prior to issue.
- Manage Quality Events, NCRs, and RFI processes.
- Coach and mentor Quality Managers and Engineers.
- Train project personnel on roles, responsibilities, and processes.
