Job summary

AMAX is seeking a Quality Manager to lead all aspects of quality assurance across hardware manufacturing and system integration. You will ensure AI servers, GPU-based systems, and data center solutions meet customer and regulatory standards while driving continuous improvement.

You will define KPIs, manage supplier quality, and oversee audits, CAPA, and cross-functional collaboration with engineering and operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 5-7 years of experience in quality management within hardware, electronics, or manufacturing environments.
• Strong knowledge of QMS (ISO 9001 or similar).
• Experience with root cause methodologies (8D, 5 Whys, Fishbone).
• Familiarity with manufacturing of servers, storage systems, or similar hardware.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) aligned with ISO standards (e.g., ISO 9001).
• Define quality KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing and operations.
• Partner with engineering, operations, and supply chain teams to embed quality throughout the product lifecycle.
• Oversee incoming, in-process, and final inspection processes for servers, storage systems, and rack-level builds.
• Monitor production quality metrics (yield, defect rates, rework, RMA trends).
• Drive root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
• Support supplier quality activities, including incoming inspection, supplier corrective actions, and quality performance monitoring.
• Conduct supplier audits and manage supplier corrective actions.
• Act as the primary point of contact for customer quality issues and escalations.
• Ensure compliance with customer specifications and industry standards.
• Support customer audits and quality reviews.
• Lead and mentor a team of quality engineers.
• Promote a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.
