Job summary

The Whiting-Turner Contracting Company is seeking a qualified Quality Manager to oversee quality management across multiple commercial projects. The role supports project teams implementing the Quality Management Plan (QMP) and collaborates with project managers, superintendents, and engineers to drive quality on behalf of clients.

Desired candidates will have a BS in Engineering/Construction Management, extensive QMS/RMS experience, and proficiency with construction means, methods, and quality

Qualifications

Minimum 5–20+ years in construction quality management.
Ability to develop and implement project-specific QMPs.
Strong written and verbal communication; collaborate with PMs, superintendents and engineers.

Responsibilities

Assist project teams in developing and executing project-specific QMPs.
Support project teams in complying with contract documents.
Review documents for constructability and accuracy.
Extract critical quality elements to support QMP development.
Lead inspection planning and coordination with project teams.
Participate in and lead quality-related meetings and reviews.
Interface with architects, engineers, and owners to ensure quality requirements are understood.
