Job summary

Magna Powertrain in the United States is seeking a Project Engineer to support the Program Management team in planning and executing engineering projects and division-wide change initiatives.

You will coordinate cross-functional teams across Engineering, Quality, Production, Purchasing, and Maintenance, track milestones, prepare documentation, and ensure timely approvals and deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years in a technical/engineering role in automotive manufacturing.
• Knowledge of IATF 16949 and ISO 14001.
• Experience with APQP and AIAG Core Tools.
• Experience with engineering changes and project coordination is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the Program Management team in planning and executing projects.
• Lead division-wide change management activities with proper evaluation, communication, approvals, and implementation.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams through changes in engineering, processes, and equipment.
• Develop and maintain project timelines, action plans, milestones, and deliverables.
• Prepare and present project updates to management and customers.
