Blue Origin is seeking a senior Quality Manager/Engineer to lead a team of Quality Engineers and Specialists across metallic and polymeric additive manufacturing operations in Washington. You will develop strategic quality initiatives, mentor staff, and drive first-time quality while ensuring compliance with AS9100 and customer audits.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• 12+ years of progressive quality engineering or quality management experience in aerospace/advanced manufacturing.
• 7+ years of direct people management experience.

Responsabilidades

• Create strategic quality initiatives in partnership with Operations to improve quality and first-time quality.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Quality Engineers and Specialists.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and identify development opportunities for direct reports.
• Champion adherence to AS9100 across manufacturing operations and lead internal audits.
• Identify and lead continuous improvement initiatives using structured methodologies (DMAIC, Kaizen, 8D).
• Develop and track quality metrics and KPIs; prepare variance analyses and corrective actions.
