Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Quality Manager to lead and oversee all aspects of our quality management system within our precision turned product manufacturing operations at all 3 Gaishin Manufacturing facilities. This role is critical in ensuring compliance with customer specifications, industry standards (ISO 9001, AS9100, ISO 13485 as applicable), and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in quality systems, statistical process control, precision machining, and a continuous improvement mindset to drive operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS).

  • Ensure compliance with applicable standards such as ISO 9001, AS9100, or ISO 13485.

  • Develop and maintain quality policies, procedures, and documentation to meet customer and regulatory requirements.

  • Direct internal and external audits, including customer, third-party, and regulatory audits.

  • Analyze production and quality data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.

  • Oversee the development and execution of Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) programs.

  • Lead quality-related root cause analysis and problem-solving activities.

  • Collaborate with engineering, production, and supply chain to ensure quality is built into every process.

  • Develop supplier quality assurance standards and perform supplier audits when needed.

  • Manage a team of quality engineers, inspectors, and technicians; recruit, train, and develop staff.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for quality-related customer communications and issue resolution.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related field; Master’s degree .

  • Minimum 10 years of quality management experience in a precision manufacturing environment.

  • Strong understanding of machining, CNC operations, and tight-tolerance components.

  • Certification in Quality Engineering or Auditing (e.g., CQE, CQA) is strongly .

  • Demonstrated experience with SPC, MSA, FMEA, PPAP, and APQP tools.

  • Proficient in quality and process improvement methodologies (Six Sigma, Lean, etc.).

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

Physical Demands & Work Environment:

  • Occasional standing, walking, and lifting in a manufacturing environment.

  • Exposure to machinery, noise, and manufacturing equipment during plant visits.
